Rescue Me ID: 18-05-24-00184Jack Jamesen (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered

Jack Jameson is a handsome silver gray white long hair male approx. 4yr. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vet checked and neutered. He is good with older kids and other cats but a dog seems to stress him out. Over the years an animal loving man saved many kitties that cruel people threw out like trash. They became his family and he was committed. Sadly, an unexpected event happened and he lost his house. He can't take all of his beloved pets/family members with him but is taking the 4 'with issues'. He didn't take the easy way out and dump his responsibility on the kill shelters. He made the effort. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE ... (Read More)GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Jack is a very friendly, people needy kitty who came up to me within 10 minutes of meeting him for the first time, but he was in his familiar surroundings. Even though he rubbed and purred all over he will need an adjustment period. He is gorgeous and once adjusted he is happy and he plays like a kitten. He will lay on you, sit with you and sleep with you. He will zoom around the house playing with his buddies or he will follow his people around the house for attention. He loves all the house kitties and would love one of his friends to be adopted with him. Remember he is leaving everything he ever knew and will need an adjustment period. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Jack Jameson FOR LIFE! Rescue Me ID: 18-05-24-00180Mumsey & Melli pr only (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Kitten

Health: Spayed

Mumsey and Melli are a beautiful mom and daughter pair that have to be adopted together. They are inseparable. Mom is a petite short hair torti approx 1.5yr. Melli is a medium hair orange female approx 8mo. Their adoption fee is $75 each. They have been vet checked and spayed. They are good with nice cats and nice older kids. Neither have been around dogs. Mumsey and Melli are two of 28 lucky kitties rescued from the kill shelter. Their 'owners' dumped their responsibilities on the over flowing shelters. They were all scheduled to die to make room for more that would surely be dumped the next day. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF ... (Read More)YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Mumsey has been a great mom, she still coos over her baby, grooms her and even still lets her nurse! Melli is your typical cute cuddly, playful precious, rowdy and rambunctious kitten! Mom is a young spirited kitty full of personality. She may act like she is quite independent, but she needs her people and will seek your affection. She is spunky, active and full of fire. Her favorite toys are mice, and the bells on a string attached to her cat tower, feather on a stick and shoe lace drag. Her favorite daytime activity is sitting in the front window tanning her belly from the sunshine. At night, she retires to her favorite bedroom and sleeps with her kitten in the cats beds. Rescue Me ID: 18-05-23-00290Sherlock Shacklefurd (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered

Sherlock Shacklefurd is a handsome chocolate black long hair male approx. 5yr. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vet checked and neutered. He is good with other cats. He has been around older kids and calm dogs but he would great without them. I spent 15 min in the house taking pictures and of course he was frightened of me and ran but dad soothed him. I would think a quieter and calm environment would be helpful in his adjusting process. Also loving and patient people because he is leaving everything he has ever known. Sherlock has been with his dad since he was found as a tiny kitten abandoned in a hot parking lot. He has lived in a quiet loving home with 10 other kitties. With his dad he is fun, playful and oh so lovable. In the evening the cats will vie for a place to lay on 'dad' while he is laying on the couch. He loves to be brushed and snuggle on a lap. He loves to play with a little stuffed mouse, bat around a ping pong ball and his best buddies are Raven (his twin) and Camry (the blue pt blue eyed Himalayan, both up for adoption). They will race and chase each other thru the house and they will keep each company. They are a great match if you are looking to add 2 new family members. He comes when he is called, he loves to walk thru dads feet when he is walking. He is very soft and silky and loves to be pet. Again to all who are interested in him, this isn't going to happen overnight. He needs patience and time to get to know you, for you to win him over, but will be your best friend if you give him a chance. Rescue Me ID: 18-05-23-00241Pookie Choo (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed

Pookie Choo is a beautiful orange black brown female approx. 6yr. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vet checked and spayed. She is good with older kids, nice cats. Dogs? She would be great as the only pet. Mom passes away and the adult kids toss her 2 beloved inside only cats, outside!! Being disoriented they ended up in the neighbors backyard where the dogs killed one. Pookie is a survivor. She has a healing bite wound at the base of her tail but we are thankful she is alive. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! What a love. After everything she has gone thru she meets foster mom, jumps ... (Read More)up on her lap wanting to be loved, she purrs and gives a little head butt. She is a social butterfly and will want to be where her people are. For not being taken care of since mom died, she still has a beautiful coat and she loves to be brushed and pampered. She is such a sweetie and basically would sit with you all day for love and attention. Rescue/foster mom has her in a bathroom with an open carrier. When she is frightened that is her safety zone for now. When people go in and visit she greets them. This time the door was left open and she heard dogs and a couple cats stood at the door. She retreated to the carrier, hissed and growled. I am not concerned, she showed no aggression just a reaction to being scared. She will adjust with a little patience and time.
