Rescue Me ID: 14-09-03-00682Tinley's Dream (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

The interview and adoption process will be lengthy so if you are not willing to allow us into your home or to send a video of yourself, your house, etc. please do not inquire. I purchased two kittens from a reputable breeder in Georgia. This is the female. She is a stunning silver tabby that was born May 23, 2012, is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, micro-chipped and she currently weighs 14 lbs. Her name is Tinley and she is a very affectionate and comical cat. We are going to miss her greatly. She loves everyone in my family (hubby and two children (7 & 12)) but is slightly shy and hesitant with strangers. She is a huge head butter and ... (Read More)sits on my lap every time I sit down. She sleeps at the foot of our bed every night, with the dog and her brother. She lays on her back when she sleeps sometimes. It is so funny. She uses her litterbox religiously and has never had an accident. She really doesn't like car rides and sometimes cries and shakes. She thrives on a raw food diet but she likes a grain free diet of kibble if a raw food diet cant be given. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations and was micro-chipped and spayed when she was a kitten. Tinley loves attention and will thrive in a house with respectful kids. She loves hunting and playing with toys, and is used to being played with daily. When she gets scared she will run and hide. Although Tinley does have full registration papers and is eligible to be shown, we have not exposed her to the show ring, she has strictly been our family member and household pet. The Bad: She will hiss and swat at the dog if he chases her, which he does all the time and she is annoyed. ***MORE INFO****Tinley wants a home where there are no other cats or dogs to chase her and beat her up. She has recently just started standing her ground, and I can tell she is not happy. She loves people, although she is sort of shy at first. She will be happiest with adults and kids to cuddle with and provide her a warm lap. I work from home and every day she comes next to my chair, meows and reaches her paws up so I will lift her into my lap. She loves to be cuddled, rubbed, scratched around the chin area, etc. and she purrs and kneads when she is content. She loves to sit up high on our cat trees and look outside at the rabbits and squirrels. She really loves to go outside and sun herself on our patio. She also loves to play with toys and the laser light. She turns into a real hunter and gets very excited during play time. She will jump around and do flips for the toys. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-28-00156Clover (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I have had Clover since I rescued her at 6 weeks old when the family she came from said they were going to leave the kittens in a field because they would not get their cat spayed. She has been a wonderful companion for 6 years and loves to snuggle and make you feel better as much she can. It kills me that I have to find another home for her but I believe she deserves a steady home that I can't give her because I have to move to a different state and am currently pregnant. All the houses we have found do not allow cats :-(. She was raised with my irish terrier with whom she does like but would prefer to do her own thing. She is very small ... (Read More)being she was the runt. Her mother was a calico mix and her father was a maine coon. She's up to date on all her vaccines and is spayed. She will come with a bag of her food, carrier, bowls, all of her toys and litter box. I refuse to surrender her to the humane society here because they have a high kill rate and I can't handle that so I am looking for a wonderful home who wants a little love bug and an excellent window watcher. She is strictly indoor due to her size she's a little girl and I live near a forest. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions about her I cannot tell you how much spunk she has and will bring to your life. (Less)
