Rescue Me ID: 17-04-22-00328Biddy (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Kitten

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Biddy is currently a nursing momma and WILL NOT be available until her kittens are old enough to be rehomed. Biddy is an outside cat, but relatively friendly and loves to sit in my lap! The swing is one of her favorite places in the yard. She is a Mid-Hair with Maine Coon and Siamese in her (by what the vet says) and is looking for someone who might want a cuddly porch cat. Biddy could easily be tamed to indoor house cat level, though she is not currently house broken. For more information, pictures, or details about Biddy just send me an email!

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-22-00320Chii (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Let us make one thing clear. Chii DOES spray. This is not why I'm looking to rehome him. He is a high energy cat and where I live it would not be possible to release him outside, there are other cats and he is very aggressive with other cats. He also has no fear of dogs, and the dogs in the area are aggressive to cats. I am looking to find my Chii a home that is either able to get him neutered (and hopefully stop the spraying as it does correct the issue in most cases). Or lives in an area where he can be an in/outdoor cat of some sort to allow him more space to run and be wild. Chii is currently in a home with three old (as old as ... (Read More)12-13 years) Chihuahuas. He is lively, playful, and simply too much for both the small dogs and other residents of the house. He also LOVES to climb, absolutely anything he can get to. (This has included curtains, oops.) That being said, he also loves to be close to someone. Chii is not the sort of cat who will lay on your lap, but he will sleep on the chair right against you. He is not immediately needy, even though he is a bit spoiled. The only health concern he has is an oily patch on his tail, it causes his fur to mat up and requires a bath and a bit of brushing and he is none too keen on any of that. Chii is also a tad moody, and does NOT enjoy being picked up. While as he can be standoffish, he will not be aggressive unless someone insists to touch him after he's done being touched. I could talk about Chii all day, we've had a long two (almost three) years together and the decision to rehome him is not one I take lightly. I will be picky about the home he goes to. (Less)
