|Rescue Me ID: 16-06-02-00674Cecil (male)|
Cecil had a rough start in life. He was a stray as a kitten and so his history is a bit of a mystery. He was adopted from the Idaho Humane Society in September 2015. Cecil had some 'catitude' and went to his grandparents home for a few months to mellow out after a baby came into the family. He was playing aggressively and has calmed down some since living in a home with other cats and a Black Lab where he had lots of human interaction...as much as he was in the mood for. His Veterinarian thinks he would be much larger but he was malnourished as a kitten and that probably stunted his growth. He is partially blind and has difficulty judging moving objects and depth- especially in low light. He really is a cool kitty...just needs a family that can socialize him even more and gain his trust. We see Cecil as a kitty that has great promise but he needs a ton of love and TLC and a SAFE ENVIRONMENT. He really should not go outside. Cecil's parents have been told by their landlord that cats are not welcome. Cecil loves the Black Lab at the home where he lives and has played with a German Shepherd, too but can be too much for the senior cats in the home. He probably should be the only cat in the home. Cecil loves to bat objects around on the hardwood floor, hang out underfoot in the kitchen and bathroom and lounge in the sun like he is the King of the Jungle. (Less)
