Rescue Me ID: 14-10-26-00067Kibou (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Kibou is a gorgeous and sweet, five-year-old, front-declawed, Tortoiseshell/Maine Coon-mix cat looking for a loving guardian. Kibou means Hope in Japanese. And, Kibou is hopeful of finding the absolutely perfect home. She has been well-loved and beautifully cared for since she was a tiny kitten. However, her mom's increased work travel schedule forced her to give her up for adoption. Kibou has always lived as the one and only pet in the home. So, I was surprised how good she is with my other cats, rabbits and dogs. It took her about a month to fully adjust. She may give a little hiss but it doesn't escalate beyond that. Kibou is more ... (Read More)of a snugler than a player. She loves to hang out, be brushed and admired, greet you at the door and follow you around the house. She talks to you if she wants something. She prefers an open litter box as opposed to a covered one, and even though she has no claws in the front, she still enjoys scratching on her post. She is extremely healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped and virus-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Kibou, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. She is currently living in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. Her adoption fee of $125 benefits rescued cats. (Less)
