Rescue Me ID: 17-07-17-00449Bella (Sissy) (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bela is a very sweet and gentle declawed 8 year old female. She and her sister Churra have been together since they were 6 weeks old. They have never been separated. I promised the girls when I adopted them that I would do everything I could to always keep them together. They are best friends. They grew up with their big brother ( a chocolate lab) and they ADORED him! Unfortunately passed away a couple of weeks ago. The girls would need time to get use to other dogs and people for that matter. They can be shy, but given enough time, they are very loving. Bella is loving (on her own terms) She is a little more shy than her sister, Churra, but ... (Read More)very sweet. I believe that she may have been weened too early because even at 8 years old, if she has a fluffy blanket that she likes, she will Kneed and suckle on the blanket. Both Bella and Churra have no health issues. We are moving and unfortunately cannot take the girls with us. We are praying for a very loving family that would adopt the girls together. They would be lost without one another! They are primarily inside kitties, but because they are use to our back yard, they enjoy playing outside too. Pretty much they just roam around our fenced in yard, nibble on some grass, lay in the sun and then come back inside. I would suggest if wanting to let the girls out in a new yard, it would be best if it were fenced and to keep an eye on them until you had confidence they wouldn't roam off. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-25-00107Tyrion (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Needing to re-home my beautiful boy Tyrion. He is a beautiful Maine coon mix. He is 3. Very sweet and loves to play. He will need shots/dewormed (again), and will need a flea treatment again(he gets outside alot and he has them again). He is neutered and has a microchip. The reason for Rehome: He keeps getting into my son's crib and apparently attacked him..because my husband found my son after a nap with several scratches and dried blood all over his ear and head. I do not blame Tyrion because my son is a toddler..who knows what he did to him..but...that can NOT happen again..plus he keeps getting out and hunting and I believe he once ... (Read More)again has tape worms. He lives with 1 other cat (female) and 1 dog (male) with no issues. The cats did play rough at times though. He will try and get outside as often as he can..he will dart out the door to do so. We have tried everything..but he likes the outside more than in. I hope someone can either break him of that, or have a regular dewormer on board because he will kill prey outside. Please help..this is tremendously difficult for my family..especially my daughter whom he is closet with. Thanks so much! (Less)
