I am seeking an ideal match for Bella. She has been with me since she was 7 weeks old, and is now 2 1/2, but she just doesn't seem to be fitting in well in our house. She would do well with a single, mature/older individual who has the time and financial resources to provide her with love, attention, and high quality food. She may have inherited the Spinal Muscular Atrophy gene, I'm guessing on this because she has shivers/tremors when sitting or laying down. They stop when she is active or fully asleep. This does not bother her at all and means mostly nothing other than she needs high quality food, and NO vaccinations to add further neurological damage. She received a medical waiver for her rabies due to this. She is lovable and rubs across your face, day and night. She is curious and will get into everything. She does not care for one of my dogs at all and causes a lot of problems by hissing at him. She also does not get along with one of my cats. I cannot state that she 'gets along' with other animals, nor can I state she 'doesn't get along' with other animals. It seems more about the individual dynamics that make or break her compatibility with others. I do think she'd be great as an only animal, with someone who loves animals and shows them a great deal of love and respect. I will approach this like a rescue, in that I will provide some kind of questionnaire, and do a home and vet check. You should be near Central Maine, possible as far as Southern Maine. (Less)
