Rescue Me ID: 15-06-30-00377Mary (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Mary is a beautiful 5 yr. old long hair tiger/calico female that would do well in a quiet home without children. She is friendly with her brother, but may need to be the only animal in the home to better regulate her diet and to help her overcome her shyness which has become more apparent since the family had children She is very sedentary as she spends a lot of her time under the bed hiding from the noises of a younger household. She does like to have her fur groomed and she does like to cuddle/be pet (just not picked up). Update after being in foster care in a quiet home: Mary does use the bed as a safe place but comes out right ... (Read More)away when called and wants to sit on your lap. She loves her catnip banana and is doing well on proplan dry for urinary. We still think she would probably like to be an only cat unless its an older quiet type. If you are interested in adopting Mary, please call 508-994-0220 or e-mail cricket13@comcast.net Eligible for Senior for Senior Program. Available for a reduced adoption fee for seniors over age 55.
