Rescue Me ID: 15-10-03-00422Gigi (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Gigi is a gorgeous Maine Coon girl who is ready to find a home. Gigi spent her whole life having one litter of kittens after another. In fact, when she came to us she was caring for EIGHT kittens, half of whom were not even hers! But she adopted the other kittens, and was a wonderful momma to the whole huge litter for 2 months. Now the kittens have found homes and its time for Gigi to go to a home where SHE can be taken care of for the first time in her life. She enjoys being pet, especially on her her neck and face, and will show her appreciation by purring and rubbing against you. Sometimes she gets a little freaked out around new ... She needs a home with someone who is ok taking things slowly and spending some time gaining her affection. She would do best in a quiet home. Dogs may be too much excitement for her, but she would do ok with other calm cats who respect her space. Gigi is about 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative to FIV/FeLV. If you are interested in finding out more about Gigi, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser. She is being fostered in Somerville and her adoption fee is $100. (Less)
