This regal-looking little lady needs a home AND a name for the holidays! Called 'Kitty 4,' she is around 1.5 years old, and she came to her current caregiver as a stray. She is extremely sweet, playful, and calm. She is a bit shy, too, though, so she'll need a patient family who can give her the time she needs to get comfortable. She is related to Kitty 3 and Kitty 5. Kitty 4 is currently living in her caretaker's backyard, along with 4 other cats. We are working on getting all of the kitties vetted, but as of yet, she has not been spayed, nor is she up to date on her shots, so she may need to see a vet once she's been adopted. Please ... Baby Girl is a brown tabby/white Maine Coon mix who is 7 years young. The perfect lap cat, she is a loving little girl who adores being held and cuddled, and even gives little kitty kisses. She is very chatty and playful and especially loves her toy mice. After batting them about the room, she will bring them to your feet and give you a giant Maine Coon 'MEOW' to let you know what a great thing she has done! Baby Girl is a smart kitty, too%BD'%BD|trained to walk on a leash. She loves to ride in the car and doesn't even mind going to the vet. When she isn't conquering her toy mice, she can be found basking in the warm sunshine in a nice cozy room. Baby Girl is friendly with everyone, likes other cats, and doesn't even mind having a nice doggie around. Baby Girl has a big Maine Coon purrsonality, but is, indeed, a tiny little cat and needs to be handled gently, so a home without small children would be best for her. She is on daily thyroid medication, so her forever home should be with a family who has experience with cats and their unique health needs. Baby Girl has been spayed, is front-paw declawed, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is UTD on her vaccines. She is very lady-like and always uses her littler box. Say 'hello' to Eva, a long-haired beauty who came to us from the Franklin County Humane Society in Rocky Mount, Virginia, along with her son, Ellijah. Just a little over 1 year old, Eva loves getting attention and being petted, and she will show her appreciation by purring and rubbing against you. She does require a little time to warm up and adjust to a new environment, but she will reward you for your patience with endless purrs and love! Just about 4 years old, Mattie is a loveable Maine Coon mix who seems to like everyone - other cats and kids included! (She has yet to be around dogs, but she would probably be fine with them.) Tucker Lynn is a sibling to Truffles. Tucker-Lynn has legs and a tail a mile long, and is very athletic. She loves to chase and wrestle with her sister, Truffles and chase any toy her human dangles in front of her or tosses. She's also very good at amusing herself, grabbing a toy and running away with it, then dropping it and chasing it. When she needs a break, she will go a few feet away and flop down elegantly for a rest. Truffles is a sibling to Tucker Lynn. Truffles is a snuggly little girl with soft meows and will even trill, Maine Coon-style, now and then while playing. She likes to bump her mouth on your mouth or nose to great you, or anytime she's felling lovey. She also likes a nice belly rub. Here is a wonderful cat I call Indiglo. I took Indiglo from an abusive situation about 2 years ago. She was traumatized, but has slowly become much friendlier and happier and I believe she's ready to be adopted. I love her and would keep her myself, but she does get bullied by a couple of my other cats and spends most of the day hiding, which I hate. She also picks on one other cat who is afraid of her. *She should go to a home where any other animals are mild mannered and laid back.* I want her to be able to explore her territory freely and get all the love and attention she deserves, without having to worry about being hurt ever again. ...
