Hi, I have quite a few cats, and it all started by me rescuing one, then another, then another. I'm in a really tough situation right now, and I can no longer take care of them. I've had them for a while now, and I can no longer function. I guess I am 'burnout'. I love the cats, but the whole situation is causing me so much stress and anxiety, I can't function! I'm a college student TRYING to stay focused on my Academics, but it's REALLY, REALLY hard. I've already failed 2 semesters because the cats demand all my attention. I'm CONSTANTLY cleaning out the litter box, EVERYTIME one of them go, CONSTANTLY cleaning up after them, and most of ... (Read More)all, I can no longer afford them. I have cats and kittens. They just keep reproducing, and I can't afford to get them neutered or spayed. So, I just want to relinquish them to a Rescue or someone who can take care of them. I don't want to take them to the shelter, because they'll more than likely get euthanized. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED HELP, ASAP!!! Can someone PLEASE help me? PLEASE? I feel like I'm losing my mind! (Less)

Animal ID: SinclairSinclair (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Cancer

Please Sponsor Sinclair Sinclair came to Only Maine Coons Rescue from a shelter in New Jersey in the spring of 2016, at the age of approximately 10 years old. He was a bit of a mess --- quite underweight for his size, with his beautiful tabby and white coat matted and dirty. Despite his appearance, he was delighted to be in his new foster home, talking to and loving on his foster family, and even bellying up to the sink for a nice cool drink whenever he could get someone to turn on the faucet. At his first vet visit, it was discovered that his liver was not functioning properly. More tests over the coming months finally revealed that ... (Read More)Sinclair suffers from advanced intestinal lymphoma. As bad as that sounds, there is a treatment protocol for it that, in effect, can 'keep the cancer busy' for at least two years, then can be adjusted as needed to keep the lymphoma at bay. This will provide Sinclair with a good quality of life, allowing him to do the things he loves --- being a high-maintenance boy who follows his humans around, demands attention, pesters his foster brothers and sisters, and does his best to get into as much kitty trouble as possible. All while looking devastatingly handsome! Sinclair is being treated with medication (Leukeran and steroids), a special high-fiber diet, and fluids. He is feeling good, though he is still underweight. At times, his appetite isn't what it should be and his foster family has to hand-feed him to make sure he gets the nourishment he needs. Otherwise, he is a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys every day! To make sure all of his days are good ones, Sinclair is looking for some really amazing people to help sponsor his care. Please consider helping to give Sinclair the best days he's ever had! (Less)
