Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Typically we do not take in cats as our job is to handle the dogs in our city. However, this kitty tugged on our heartstrings. Noticed by residents in an area known for major criminal activities including dog fighting, this kitty would pop out from under a car in a garage lot meowing and going up to everyone to be petted. She loved being picked up and handled. Turned out she was microchipped to someone in the Armed Forces who never updated their contact information. Rather than leave her out for 'pittie' bait especially since she was declawed, Niko was taken in with the hope that someone would let this friendly old lady live a ... (Read More)comfortable life. Forgive the photo -- better ones to come and Niko has big green eyes :) She has been tested for all illnesses as well as thyroid and our vet has given her a clean bill of health. A very social cat with people. (Less)

After his parent passed away, he was taken to a kill shelter where the volunteers fell in love with him and wanted him to have that chance. When you come to meet him don't be surprised if he's all ready to celebrate an early New Year's with you! Please note Sylvester needs to be in a home with no dogs.     Beautiful Maine Coon mix. She is brown long haired with golden strands throughout. She has an expressive face with large eyes. She allows me to stroke her and stands on her back legs when she is excited. She should not be outside as she appears to be tame. I am looking for a special cat lover to foster or adopt.
