Rescue Me ID: 16-09-05-00389Lenny (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lenny is the one on the right side of the picture. His sister is Miah (left), both are up for adoption and I prefer they go together. They are six years old and have never been apart. If they were seperated, I think would be too much change for them. They are both very docile and friendly. They seem to be nervous around kids. They are fine with dogs as long as the dogs are not aggressive. They are indoor cats, never been outdoors but love a screened in patio!!. Lenny is healthy but does not like to be held. Never has. He is weird about that and won't even sit on your lap. He will be at your side and loves to be pet but not held. He has more ... (Read More)energy than Miah, he gets bored and Likes to wrestle. She does not like to wrestle, rather likes toys. Miah loves to be with you, loves to knead on you and also has kidney disease, found at 6 months old. She is on 2.5mg of Benazepril a day as well as 1/4 tsp of omega 3 fatty acids. Medicine is very cheap.$20 lasts a few months. She is also on Purina NF food. $27/6lb bag. It is important they get a caring, patient home. Lenny needs some stimulation, maybe another male cat to wrestle with and Miah likes to be lazy and not picked on. Both are a little over weight, Lenny is 15 lbs and Miah is close to 16 lbs. Please only serious inquiries. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-01-00197Stanley (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Hello, my name is Stanley and I'm 13 years old and very healthy and youthful. I am a main coon mix with frosted toes and white chest. I'm looking for my forever home where I can be the only cat. I will probably be best matched with an experienced cat owner; one who knows and is familiar with cats and their quirks. I'm very active in the morning and evening and I'm very friendly toward all people, but energetic dogs, young children, and other cats make me feel insecure and I hide. I'm great with older kids that are calm around me and will happily head-butt hands and legs as I walk by. I'm a mellow, easy-going kitty and I need a home that's ... (Read More)the same way. I'm looking for lots of love and attention because I follow my owner around and meow for food or to sit on her lap and be petted-(my favorite things). I am well-trained and enjoy a large/jumbo covered litter box or even a plastic storage bin with a hole cut in the top because I'm a very long kitty and enjoy the space. I love, love, love to cuddle! My favorite thing is to sit on laps and be petted. If I find you lying on the couch, I will snuggle up with you and rub against everything. I am an introvert and mainly prefer my owner, but I warm-up to other people shortly after meeting them. Sudden movements can make me nervous at first, but I adjust quickly. Because I'm such an anxious kitty, I have a sensitive stomach and any changes in my environment cause me stress. I also need a lot of attention and reassurance when things in my environment change. My favorite things to do are sitting on laps while being petted, play with peacock feathers, nap in the sun, eat grass, and watch birds outside or on the tv. I nap during the day, but mornings and evenings I'm pretty active and want attention. I'm an indoor cat, but sometime my owner lets me munch on grass close to the house or grows grass for my digestion and hairballs. I'm easily frightened when outside and run up trees if I hear a loud noise. I mainly love string and wire toys. Although, sometimes I eat the string, so you'll have to watch me. Thank you for reading about me, and let me know if my forever home is with you! If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my owner. Please only contact if you're familiar with cats and will contact the current owner if there are any problems or if Stan is not a good fit for your home. Thanks for reading! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-10-00389Mia (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Mia is a 1 year old female kitten with a wonderful personality. She is most likely a Maine Coon mix of some sort. She is a sweet girl and would be great in a home with other cats, a cat-friendly dog, and/or children. She loves being petted and is happy to just be around people. She has moderate energy and is ready to play when you are! She was rescued when she was about 6-8 weeks old and was very malnourished. She barely survived, but now she is healthy and loving life. She needs a home with people who are willing to keep her litter box very clean, as she will go outside of the box if it is not reasonably clean. She has been returned once ... (Read More)due to this issue, so we are looking for a forever home who will love and care for her regardless. She is a medium sized cat and is fully grown. She does need a lot of brushing/grooming, as she gets mats very easily. Mia is fully vetted (spayed, FIV/FeLV tested, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped). If you think Mia may be the right fit for your home, please contact us. There will be an application, adoption fee, and contract. Please contact us with any questions or for more information! (Less)
