Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed

Took Mimi in as a kitten when her family abandoned her. She has an extra toe on each front paw. She is a large cat. I think her markings is Mackerel tabby with white on face, part of paws, legs and chest. She is a beauty. Mimi likes gazing out windows and at fish in a tank. She lives now with three other cats and gets along just fine. She has never been around dogs. She doesn't claw furniture but does pick the carpet. She likes to play with the laser light. She is a big eater and enjoys head and neck rubs. She will need brushing often. Looking for a home for her, my husband never wanted house pets and is threatening leaving me. She ...     Meet Tommy! He has gorgeous thick black fur with hints of reddish brown, four white paws and a cute white beard tip under his chin. He is a 1 to 2 yr mix of Ragdoll and a Maine Coon. He is a bigger fella, aprox 12 to 15# depending how much his foster mom is feeding him. LOL. He is a very mellow, yet playful guy. Loves other kitties especially younger kitties. He has sleepy eyes all the time. Gets along with dogs as long as they are not in his face. He adores being pet and brushed. He loved cat nip and watching the birds. He needs to stay indoors only. Tommy is fully vetted and microchipped. There is a short video on You Tube under Snow ... (Read More)Camp Sanctuary. We offer a 2 week trial to see if your home is a good fit for Tommy and with your family. His best home would be with another kitty either female or younger than him. You will be required to fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to meeting Tommy. He's a sweet large love bug, that could be an awesome addition to your family. Contact us via email and we will call you within 3 days (sometimes busy on weekends) at cat rescue events. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-05-00389Lenny (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lenny is the one on the right side of the picture. His sister is Miah (left), both are up for adoption and I prefer they go together. They are six years old and have never been apart. If they were seperated, I think would be too much change for them. They are both very docile and friendly. They seem to be nervous around kids. They are fine with dogs as long as the dogs are not aggressive. They are indoor cats, never been outdoors but love a screened in patio!!. Lenny is healthy but does not like to be held. Never has. He is weird about that and won't even sit on your lap. He will be at your side and loves to be pet but not held. He has more ... (Read More)energy than Miah, he gets bored and Likes to wrestle. She does not like to wrestle, rather likes toys. Miah loves to be with you, loves to knead on you and also has kidney disease, found at 6 months old. She is on 2.5mg of Benazepril a day as well as 1/4 tsp of omega 3 fatty acids. Medicine is very cheap.$20 lasts a few months. She is also on Purina NF food. $27/6lb bag. It is important they get a caring, patient home. Lenny needs some stimulation, maybe another male cat to wrestle with and Miah likes to be lazy and not picked on. Both are a little over weight, Lenny is 15 lbs and Miah is close to 16 lbs. Please only serious inquiries. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-01-00320Lyra (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

She is a gorgeous long haired Maine Coon, we took her in after a couple my husband and I knew decided they wanted to abandon her. They were going to do so outside of an animal clinic that was at full capacity, she would have been put down. After 3 months she was back to great health and decided to keep her. She is however very dominant towards my other cat who is 12 years old. Lyra's previous owners got her when she was a kitten, my husband and I were pet sitters for them for 3 years. She is 6 years old now, we took her in January 2015. She is a huge lap cat. She last weighed in at 22 pounds and has been on a diet. She is extremely ... (Read More)affectionate towards people, just not other cats (male or female). If I do not find her a home she is going to hurt my older cat who I have had for 12 years. I am becoming desperate to find a home, I never thought I would consider taking her to a shelter, she doesn't belong in one!! Unfortunately that is where I will have to turn to next if I cannot find a home. She bullies to the point my other cat is terrified of using the litter box or eating in fear of being attacked. So please help me find her a home! She is so loving and sweet, she just needs someone who wants a bug fluffy lap cat to love her, and a home WITHOUT OTHER ANIMALS OR CHILDREN! %BD%BD%BD. (Less)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Mia is a 1 year old female kitten with a wonderful personality. She is most likely a Maine Coon mix of some sort. She is a sweet girl and would be great in a home with other cats, a cat-friendly dog, and/or children. She loves being petted and is happy to just be around people. She has moderate energy and is ready to play when you are! She was rescued when she was about 6-8 weeks old and was very malnourished. She barely survived, but now she is healthy and loving life. She needs a home with people who are willing to keep her litter box very clean, as she will go outside of the box if it is not reasonably clean. She has been returned once ...
