Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

She has been with a single man since birth and one other male cat. She does not like children or dogs and appears scared so she is hissing a lot at other people. She is front declawed and spayed. Has never been outside or around other animals except the cat that was living with her. Her owner has had to move to a facility that does not allow animals and we are fostering her but have two large dogs and it is not a good situation. We need to find her a home quickly.

Rescue Me ID: 17-01-05-00375Fuzzy (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, FIV

This is a beautiful 16 pound Maine Coon (at least in appearance). His owner died so he has been left on his own outdoors in my neighborhood. My husband and I have provided for him outside; we have not brought him inside because he is FIV positive and we have another cat. Fuzzy seems to love other cats outdoors but he does not like our indoor cat, therefore I am concerned about the FIV. He is a wonderful cat with people. He should not be outdoors unsupervised due to the FIV. Although he is FIV positive, he seems to be extremely healthy and has been vet-checked several times recently. Please help him.

Rescue Me ID: 16-12-18-00275Cocoa (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Cocoa has been living in a bedroom with her male person and male cat for about 3 years after being rescued off the street. She is front declawed and spayed. She is not friendly with most people and will run and hide and hiss but has not bitten anyone. She is also particular and will urinate on the floor if the litter box is not cleaned at intervals during the day. She does not like children - dogs she basically ignores. Her human person has had to move into an apartment where he cannot have any pets and we do not want to just 'get rid of her'. She will be living in my home until we can find her a place. She would be better in a single ... (Read More)animal, no children, family who has the patience for such a cat. She is beautiful and we can have her shots updated prior to adoption. (Less)
