Rescue Me ID: 14-07-31-00217Stardust (Star) (female)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Free to THE SAME good home: Two of the cutest, most lovable furballs ever. They are maine coon mixes and sisters. Rescues. Approximately 15 months old. Fixed. I will include all necessary supplies. (2 litterboxes, good litter, food, grooming gear, toys, etc.) This is Stardust (Star). She's a bit seclusive but warms up quite well to people after a few visits here. She is more reserved, but still seeks love. She will cry and place her paw on you to let you know she wants some snuggles. She's a dilute torti color. Short hair but yet has the long underbelly and snowpaws of the Maine coon. She's quite the techi. Her favorite activities are ... (Read More)faxing her friends, turning off the standing fan so that she can bat at the blade, and typing. You'll have to turn your keyboards upsidedown because this jokester has a love for stealing F1 keys. Maine coons are very smart, almost dog-like for training and play, and she holds true to that. Her sister is Celestia (Tia). She's the lover girl and will always be under your feet rubbing your legs. Or throwing herself in front of your step, belly up and pawing cutely until you give her a proper petting. She's kind of ditzy and has been known to fall off of furniture trying so hard to be loved on. She still suckles on fingers from time to time. She takes to people very easily. She has all of the markings of the maine coon, including the snowpaws and underbelly. I'll be living alone soon, while working and in school. I won't have time to give them the love they deserve. And cost may potentially be an issue. With a heavy heart, I'm considering finding them a good home that I could check in on by email from time to time. (Less)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant

This little girl was found outside. She is a long haired Tortoiseshell kitty (Female)..Absolutely gorgeous... She does not get along w/ the resident kitty- actually lunges at him..So, I believe she will have to be an only kitty. Do not know how she is with dogs.. Has been hanging around the house for months and apparently, no one is looking for her.. She is people friendly after introduction..Loves to be pet and held...So, she was obviously someones pet at one time and at this time has been living outside at this home, I assume she has been dumped..(as this particular family has had many kitties find their way to their home in that past that ... (Read More)I have spay/neutered/vaccinated and rehomed. I do not know if she is spayed or not, nor do I know her exact age..I believe she is a young adult..I physically have not seen her yet. Her adoption fee is $45. This Fee includes registered Microchip..Which is registered to you at the time of pick up of kitty. If you would like for me to get her shots and spayed (if she is not already done), I can get that done at one of our local clinics for about $99 (this includes Rabies Shot/FIV & FeLV testing/Spay/Pain Meds/Distemper shot) **** This kitty is not in my home, she is located in Palmer Twp, Easton **** If she is to be vaccinated/spayed by me- I require the money up front to have this done. She will then be with me at my home for pick up or delivery- depending on where you live. Please, also, be aware I thoroughly screen/background check all possible adopters and the current family who is caring for her does reserve the right to do a home check. If you are interested in this beautiful little girl, please contact me and tell me a little bit about yourself. Here are some simple questions I do require to be answered. 1. What is your name? 2. What City or Township do you live in? 3. Do you own or rent your home. If you rent, I must speak to your landlord to guarantee that you are allowed to have a pet. 4. Are you over 18yrs old? I will not adopt to students or kids w/out a parent involved. 5. Do you have other pets? If so, what kinds/how many and who is your veterinarian? 6. Have you ever been accused of animal abuse or neglect in the past? 7. Do you have the means to care for a kitty, feeding it and getting it appropriate veterinary care when necessary? You do not need to be a millionaire to adopt and care for an animal, but I want to verify that you are able to care for them properly. 8. This kitty is to be adopted as an indoor kitty only. Please upon contacting me leave your name and a proper way of getting in touch with you (email or phone#). I know I ask a lot of questions, however, I only do this for the protection of the animals. Thanks for looking and your interest. I look forward to hearing from you - Shell (Less)
