Animal ID: YesDusty (female)

Maine Coon    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Dusty is a purebred Maine Coon whose 'Mom' died last Sunday of a stroke. My dear friend's relatives are coming To take her to the pound which kills cats on a regular basis due to overcrowding. Dusty is a show stopper absolutely gorgeous, specimen who adores all people but is a quiet thinking kitty who loves to stay outside most of the day enjoying nature but will come when called. I would take her as well as her 'sister,' Mia, a shorthair Tabby but I already have 1 of my late friends cats along with my 2 other cats as well as 2 silky terriers & just simply do not have enough room. I am heartbroken about this situation. I will try to post ... (Read More)a picture but may be running out of time. Dusty is a very intelligent, engaging beauty who deserves a home where she can be appreciated for the regal queen that she truly is. To think that she will probably be gassed in a few days just horrifies me. (Less)

Domestic Long Hair-gray & Maine Coon Mix ~Adult ~ Male ~ Large~ located at the Carroll County Humane Society McKenzie, TN (West Tn) Pretty Boy was an owner surrender because he has a horrific wound on his stomach and his person could not care for it. The wound looked like he has been burned with a waffle iron and it took forever to clear up but it finally did and he is ready for a new home. He is the kind of cat who is content to lounge on a perch and look down on his kingdom and if he wants to cuddle, he will come and snuggle. He is not a fan of being wagged around and will squirm to get down and then go get in the window. He is good with ... Pretty Boy is felv/fiv negative, current on his vaccines, and has been neutered. (Less)
