Chloe is a female Maine Coon/Persian. She is being fostered in a home in San Antonio after she was rescued from a restaurant parking lot. Chloe is very sweet and gentle. Because of her shyness, she will need a loving, patient and quiet forever home, with people who will give her loving care and time to adjust to her new surroundings. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. For additional information and to arrange to meet Chloe, please contact the following: 210-492-2154 or 210-912-1390 or email@example.com

|Rescue Me ID: 13-04-29-00061Big Boots (male)|
This FABULOUS feline looks purebred to me. I was a Vet. Tech for 10 years, and I have never seen such huge feet. He is underweight, but if well fed and wormed, as he deserves, he would be VERY large. I don't have a pic yet, but he is the typical Maine- grey tiger, long hair but with a white stripe down his face and has a white chest and boots (BIG boots!). He was a Tom cat stray that was very affectionate, I am sure he used to be someone's pet. He is so sweet and loving though, someone may have stepped on his foot since he wants to be petted as soon as you appear and he favors the left front foot. He holds it up some times and is obviously in pain, yet never bites or even tries to scratch me if I try to palpate it--he just wiggles until I let him go. He will let you hold him upside down, which is a big sign of prior socialization. He also tries to get past my 110 lb lab mix at the door when it is cold outside, so he gets along with dogs. He ignores my cats at the door, also--never even a hiss on either side! I already have 4 cats, so I just can't have him inside. Don't know his behavior inside, he was neutered approx. 3.5 months ago, but local toms are still coming around and beating him up. (Only one foot to stand on, none to fight back, so there is evidence of scratches and bites from other cats. He had a brother for a while that was un-catchable and they were fine together.) He is jumpy when I sit with him outside; he is afraid of any sound that might be another cat or our local Racoon that eats his food. He needs a safe indoor/outdoor home. I am ill and don't know how much longer I can keep him. He needs some time and tender loving care (now it is 5 minutes a day and he is sooo lonesome) and some vet care, both of which I cannot provide. However, he needs TLC and safety from aggessive cats the most. If he doesn't work out for any reason, you MUST return him to me, unless I OK another home you would like to place him with. This sweet kitty needs a forever home- please help! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 12-10-28-00227Ninja (male)|
Ninja is a two year old boy that is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is a big boy, currently weighing 16 lbs. He is big and cuddly. His personality is of a big teddy bear kind. He gets along with both cats and dogs and is laid back enough to let kittens 'nurse' on him. He can twist and bend into the oddest of poses - he is a never-ending source of entertainment.
