Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Caramel Kitty as I call him. He was someone's pet but he made his way to my townhouse community in July 2015. He has been neutered and had a rabies shot at that time. He is quite a talker and appears to be mostly Maine Coon breed but the vet indicated that he also had tabby genes. He always lets any of the female cats that are with him eat first and he waits patiently for them to finish before he eats. He is also quite a talker. I am searching for a forever home for him. He difficult to photograph as he doesn't stand still too long to take a photo.

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive

Toby came to us after his owner died. He was inherited by a family member that did not want him. He is 11 years old. This poor guy has been through a lot in the last couple of months. He is very fearful and because of this is very standoffish now. He needs to go to a home, preferably with no other pets where hi new human has the time to show him faith in humanity again. He is also being treated for arthritis at the moment which could be causing some of his fearfullness.

Audrey is a petite, sweet, and beautiful tortoiseshell Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix female who was born in winter 2012/ 2013. She has big, mesmerizing green eyes that will capture your heart. She loves to be petted as well as brushed; she is such a girly girl and daintily puts her paws in her foster mom's lap. She is shy at first -- call it being feminine and demure -- but she warms up quickly and is very loving and sociable. Audrey was found as a kitten with her sister behind a restaurant and rescued into the Buster's Friends program. She was adopted, but unfortunately her human had financial reverses because he lost his job and ... (Read More)had to surrender her back to Buster's Friends. After this unfortunate setback, now Audrey is looking for her lifetime home. Audrey has the typical Maine Coon big fluff of a tail and tufted ears/ paw pads. Are you surprised that a Maine Coon mix can be a tortoiseshell? Well, watch the You Tube Animal Planet 3-minute video by Googling 'Cats 101 Maine Coon' and find out that they come in all colors from white to black with tabby in between! You'll want to meet Audrey right away! Maine Coon mixes are known for their gentle, loving, calm dispositions and intelligence. They often make soft little chirping noises as they go about their day. They are delightful companions who are loving, loyal, and very patient with gentle children. Sometimes they pick up food with their front paws. Audrey is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Hers adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the email contact button if you are interested in Audrey, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her. (Less)

Hi, I'm Buddy, a black medium-haired Maine Coon/ Bombay mix who was born in the fall of 2010. I have the typical Maine Coon big fluff of a tail and tufted ears/ paw pads. Are you surprised that a Maine Coon mix can be black? Well, watch the Animal Planet 3-minute video by Googling "Cats 101 Maine Coon" and find out that we come in all colors from white to black with tabby in between! Maine Coon mixes are known for our gentle, loving, calm dispositions and intelligence. We Maine Coon mixes often make soft little chirping noises as we go about our day. Buddy is the perfect name for me because I'll be your best friend! I'm sweet and loving, quiet and calm. I'm shy about new places in the beginning, but I warm up! I'll come to greet you when you come in the door! People say I'm very handsome and soft! I'm a little angel! I can be with other cats, but I get nervous around too many cats. So maybe just have one other cat, or I can be the only cat. I'm great with the small dog in my foster home because she likes cats. Please don't be superstitious of black cats! Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Buddy is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Click the contact button so we can arrange for you to meet this beautiful black charmer. (Less)
