Hi! My name is Salem, and I'm a sweet, very affectionate, curious black domestic medium hair/ Maine Coon mix little girl who was born in January 2018! As you can see from my photo, I'm a fluffball with personality plus! If you're surprised that Maine Coon mixes can be black, watch the attached video that appeared on Animal Planet, and you'll find that we come in white to black with all colors as well as tabbies in between! My pregnant mom was living by a dumpster when luckily our future foster meowmy rescued her so that my 2 siblings and I could be born inside! It was very cold outside this winter, so I am so very thankful. I love to play ... (Read More)with my siblings, and I even snuggle with the big gentle dog at my foster home. I would be great for a family with other kitties, dogs, or well-behaved kids! Come meet me today so that you can find out how loving and friendly I am. Salem is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Animal ID: CLfluffy Michael (male)

Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Howdy do to you! My name is fluffy Michael (to distinguish me from the other Buster's Friends' Michael who's a DSH), and I'm a gentle giant who's a handsome black and white tuxedo Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix fella with a big plume of a tail and large jade saucer eyes who was born in December 2011. I'm a happy, friendly fella who loves to be petted and brushed. I'm pretty laid-back, so I transition easily into new situations. Maine Coon mixes are known for their loving natures, calm dispositions, and intelligence. We're delightful companions -- loving and loyal -- who often make soft little chirping sounds (or squeaks) as we go about ... (Read More)our day and who often pick up food with our front paws. We're excellent hunters and don't hesitate to go into water. I have personality plus, if I do say so myself. I'm a great snuggle bug and love to sit on laps and sleep with my foster mom. I like to sniff and lick everything! I'm a very curious 'explorer' who can often be found in places you'd never expect -- or hiding behind corners ready to pounce. I guess you're wondering why a fantastic dude like me happens to be homeless. Well, I was originally living on the streets as an orphan stray kitten with my siblings. A Good Samaritan found us and turned us into the city pound, and thank heavens Buster's Friends scooped us up and got us into my first foster home. It was there that I used to follow around the family dog and play with the other foster cats and kittens. I was adopted by a nice lady with whom I've been living (as a solo pet), but unfortunately her adult children are moving back in with her and, for some reason, I had to go back into Buster's Friends foster care. Heck, I guess some folks can be allergic to my medium hair. Or scared of big cats, even though Maine Coons are usually very patient with kids. I'm such a sweet fella who would make a great addition to almost any home that has room for a gentle giant. (I am a big boy!) So why don't you arrange to meet me today so I can try out your lap for size? Michael is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Not Good w/ Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Hello everyone! My name is Jane, and I am one sweetheart of soft, golden fluff waiting to be scooped up and loved to pieces. I am a very affectionate girl who loves giving kitty kisses and rubbing noses. Plus I'm a sight for sore eyes -- a beautiful pastel cameo-colored tabby gal with white blaze, muzzle, bib, tummy, and tall go-go boots who was born about September 2015. And my thick, medium-length fur is delicate to the touch -- like a bunny's. Best of all is my big fluff of a tail, which indicates that I may have some Maine Coon blood coursing through my veins. I was rescued by my foster mom from the city pound with my litter of four ... (Read More)kittens. My little ones were weaned and have all found their forever families, and now it's my turn. I would adore being your one and only, but I get along with other feline family members in my foster home. However, I stay clear of the resident dog -- which probably goes back to my life fending for myself on the streets. Please come and meet me soon. I really am irresistible, so let's start our romance today! When I'm your kitty, your house will celebrate Valentine's Day every day. Jane is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Jane, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her. Maine Coon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, FIV, Abused/Neglected

Meet Charlie! Poor sweet Charlie was found outside our house in Spring Branch. He has a mosquito allergy, which is why he is missing hair on his nose, and his ears are currently being treated as they have large wounds on them. Charlie is FIV positive unfortunately, so he will need to be in a home without other cats, or with a cat that is also FIV positive. He will have to be an only indoor cat due to his mosquito allergy and FIV status. Charlie loves people, and likes to snuggle. Please give him a good home.
