Rescue Me ID: 16-11-10-00161Garfield (male)

Maine Coon    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive

This beautiful little kitty wants a home. Very loving eyes - good eye contact. We are referring to it as 'Garfield'. Behavior is that kitty wants to come in out of the rain/cold. Kitty has fluffy, shaggy coat. Stays in our backyard and sleeps under a patio table for shelter. The table is not shelter from wind or sideways rain. I am praying for a safe, reliable, loving and dedicated forever home for this little ball of fluff. Too pretty a cat to be on the street. I have 3 housecats, otherwise I would be very excited to adopt this one myself!! He's getting supplements (olive leaf, taurine, turmeric, and cod liver oil) mixed in his ... Maine Coon Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Clovis is a big guy who weighs approximately fifteen pounds and is approximately six to seven years old. He has gorgeous green eyes and a sleek coat that is predominantly gray and white but does have some cream undertones and muted stripping. He appeared at my house as a stray and I feed him for a number of months before taking him in. He would show up nightly and patiently wait just outside my front door for me to bring food to him. This great guy can be shy and will patiently wait his turn for attention. He is most definitely a nurturer; I have a young Persian kitty who struggles with the snorts and eye issues on a regular basis who ... (Read More)Clovis will snuggle up beside and wrap his paws around as if hugging him. While Clovis is super laid back, he is incredibly animated when chasing a laser mouse. He will thump his paws and make quite a bit of noise as he charges around trying to catch the red dot. He has not been around children unless he was around them before becoming displaced and arriving at my front door. Just a great kitty man. If you are interested in becoming this wonderful guy's person, please feel free to contact me. I do when possible like to receive a vet reference. (Less)
